    Very heavy duty. Bought for a Dutch door and it looks nice although I wished it was a bit smaller. Would look great on an outside gate. Used car wax as soon as I opened it to keep the finish. However, we did have to use Dremel tool & grind out the inside of the receiving hole as it was too small & bolt kept getting stuck. Then had to paint black to cover grinding.

    I am very pleased with the look and finish of the bolt, I plan on using it on a door that I am turning into a dutch door. I want to give it that old classic look and I think this will accomplish that.

    I am using this lock on an out door wooden gate and it works well. I wish it was painted. The fit is a bit sloppy and the enclosed screws useless. Good for the price.

    It was just perfect--our pool house burned down but I found the massive hinge straps but not the latch. Love so many of your products. My copper sink gets a lot of comments. Also the carved corbals.
